Our Two Day Basic canyoneering course covers the same material as our One Day Basic course but affords people two days of instruction and supervision with a guide as you lead and navigate multiple technical canyons. On the second day of this course, you will move through a canyon while implementing the knowledge and skills acquired from the first day. A great option for true beginners seeking more instruction and experience.
This course is intended for beginners wanting to get into entry level technical canyons in Zion National Park such as Keyhole, Subway, and/or Orderville canyons, or those with a climbing background looking to do intermediate canyons such as Pine Creek, Mystery, Spry, or Behunin canyons. You should expect to be out on the canyoneering course anywhere from 7-9 hours each day. There will be some light hiking (under 1 hour) so wear comfortable hiking shoes. Your guide will provide you with all the needed gear prior to your course. Just remember to bring plenty of water and some snacks or lunch.
