Our Full Day Zion Rock Climbing trip offers you the comfort of going out with either our AMGA certified climbing guide, or an accomplished rock and alpine climber. Our local guides are passionate and safety conscious rock climbers dedicated to Zion and Southern Utah climbing. These guides look forward to sharing their knowledge of the area with you. This trip is all about you, so you have to ability to customize the full day climb to how you see fit and according to your specific skill and ability level. 

During the Full Day Zion Rock Climbing trip you can expect to be out for approximately 6 hours. Some light hiking is required to get to the crag (less than 1 hour) but thanks to the dry desert air you can enjoy the coolness of the shade or the warmth of the sun. Your guide will provide you with all the needed gear prior to your trip, just remember to bring plenty of water and some snacks.

All trips are private so start times can be adjusted around your travel plans. As a result, you’ll never be grouped with others unless requested.

Full Day Itinerary: 6 hrs

Once your trip is booked by calling our office at 435-319-0313, you will receive an emailed receipt of payment.  In addition a confirmation email will be sent detailing the date of the trip, meet up-location and start time and what to bring. It will also include a link for the liability waivers. Each member of the trip needs to complete prior to the trip.

From the meet-up location, you will follow your guide/s out to one of the various climbing walls for the day that are outside of Zion National Park, as paid guiding is not permitted by the Superintendent of Zion National Park.

If you do not have any personal equipment, your guide will outfit you with the necessary technical equipment.

A short 1/2 mile hike will get you to the base. From there, we will begin our trip that will include climbs 40-500 feet in length utilizing the varied and fun rock that Southern Utah has to offer.  Our instructional based guiding methods enables you to learn safe use of the equipment as well as proper climbing movement.

We will then hike back to the car to complete the trip.

We are confident that you will have had a extremely safe and memorable experience that will last a lifetime.

Springdale, UT Getting Here

Springdale, UT is located in the heart of Zion Canyon. ZMS is located in the heart of Springdale, UT.

  • 2.5 Hours to Vegas (We are an hour ahead of Vegas)
  • 4.5 Hours from Salt Lake City
  • 45 minutes from Saint George, UT


Best option is to fly into Vegas, NV,  and either drive or hire a shuttle to drop you off in Springdale, UT.


Both the town of Springdale and Zion National Park offer free propane powered shuttle systems that can drop you off in town or at any spot in the main canyon. This enables you to travel to the area without need of renting a car.
